Regional Manager T.J. supervises and provides support for Hilton and Marriott properties within the Chartwell Hospitality portfolio. T.J. joined Chartwell Hospitality in 2012 as Dual General Manager of the Courtyard and Residence Inn, Franklin, TN, where he led the hotel to win several awards, including multiple Silver and Gold Guest Satisfaction awards, GM of the Year and Hotel of the Year, among others.
T.J. also served with Chartwell Hospitality as Lead General Manager, where he directed company initiatives and provided property support for rolling out new products before stepping into a Regional Manager role in 2018. T.J. continues to specialize in leading company-wide projects, rollouts, and acquisitions.
Prior to joining Chartwell Hospitality, T.J. worked with Vista Host Hotel Development & Management for 11 years, where he was directly responsible for supporting seven hotels and leading sustainability efforts for nearly 30 properties.
As a father of two sons and one daughter, T.J. has had a busy schedule on Friday nights and weekends, consumed by competition and sideline cheer, marching band and football for the past 15-plus years, where he displays the same zest for life expressed in his hospitality career. He’s had the pleasure and privilege of coaching each of his sons to a football championship during this time. The Angeleno family is also avid fans of the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Tennessee Titans.
