Stephen Walsh, Chartwell Hospitality’s Development Manager, has more than 15 years of experience with the firm, having previously served as an Owner’s Representative and as an Assistant Superintendent with its Chartwell Construction division, before his promotion to Development Manager.
As a key member of the Chartwell Development Team, Stephen has contributed to the firm’s rapid growth, helping supervise the completion of more than 20 new hotel developments, in addition to multiple renovations, conversions and mixed-use projects. In doing so, Stephen has demonstrated ability in working productively with the many parties integral to a successful development, including owners, investors, brands and project team leaders.
Prior to joining Chartwell, Stephen worked as a Project Manager on high-end residential construction in the Greater Nashville Area. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee and is a Certified Green Building Professional by the Home Builders Association of Middle Tennessee (HBAMT).
Stephen and his wife are both enthusiastic soccer fans and supporters of the Nashville Soccer Club. He is also an avid outdoorsman who enjoys most any outdoor activity with family and friends, whether it is hiking, kayaking, golfing, hunting, or fishing.
