As chief operating officer and longtime trusted advisor to Chartwell Hospitality President & Managing Partner Robert G. Schaedle III, Kevin supervises all operations for Chartwell’s extensive hotel portfolio. His responsibilities include managing all aspects of daily property operations, including but not limited to revenue forecasting and generation, expense management, risk management and human resources; as well as contributing to the firm’s growth and portfolio strategies.
Overall, Kevin has more than 35 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He has been with Chartwell Hospitality since its founding in 2003, having previously served as vice president of operations for the hotel division of Schaedle Worthington Hyde Properties in Atlanta.
Earlier in his career, Kevin gained valuable experience working for Marriott International in multiple general manager positions and for Mississippi Management, Inc. in food and beverage management. Kevin earned his degree in hotel restaurant administration from the University of Southern Mississippi. Kevin's community contributions have included serving on the boards of the Greater Nashville Hospitality Association and the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corporation.
When not at the office, there is a good chance you will find Kevin at the lake, as he loves biking, boating, water skiing, surfing and just about anything related to the Life Aquatic.
