With more than 40 years of total experience in the hospitality industry, Vice President of Hotel Operations Don has been with Chartwell since its founding in 2003. Over this time, aided by his comprehensive understanding of what it takes to develop and manage high-performing hotels that, also, excel in guest service, Don has been instrumental in helping forge the Chartwell brand as one of the nation’s leading hospitality owners, developers and operators. As such, he continues to play a vital role in the firm’s leadership team with respect to owner relationships and Chartwell’s overall strategic direction.
Prior to joining Chartwell Hospitality, Don held leadership roles with Vista Host and SWH Hotels, earning Manager of the Year recognition with each firm. He attended Pensacola State College, where he studied business administration and finance.
Don remains a devoted fan of Florida State University football, and enjoys a wide range of outdoor activities, including boating.
