Construction breaks ground on TownePlace Suites by Marriott, Tennessee

Construction has broken ground on TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Brentwood, Tennessee under Chartwell Hospitality and Rockbridge. The two companies are expanding their hospitality options in the area by developing three new hotels in high-growth neighbourhoods. The developments also include TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Murfreesboro, TN; and a Home2 Suites by Hilton in Lebanon, TN.

The TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Brentwood is part of a multimillion-dollar revitalization initiative to modernise the neighbourhood. It is situated in the Eastpark neighbourhood of Maryland Farms. The Eastpark complex, which has access to Old Hickory Boulevard and Interstate 65, is home to thousands of workers and boasts more than five acres of green space. It will be Chartwell’s third hotel in the Brentwood region when the TownePlace Suites by Marriott opens. The hotel will provide the neighbourhood with 119 rooms and suites in total.

The only hotel authorised for the Clari Park mixed-use development is the TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Murfreesboro. It is owned by Chartwell. The hotel has 120 guestrooms with full kitchens, outdoor community patios with grills, free WiFi, on-site laundry, an upscale fitness centre, an outdoor pool, and a lobby bar. It is situated off Medical Centre Parkway close to St. Thomas Hospital. The outside of the hotel has been modified to adhere to the development’s architectural specifications.
