Exclusive: Developers book luxury hotel brand for $500M project

Hilton has agreed to reserve one of its luxury brands for a $500 million development in Nashville.

Chris Brown, principal of Alabama-based Propst Development, and Rob Schaedle, founder and managing partner of Franklin-based Chartwell Hospitality, confirmed Hilton's decision to the Nashville Business Journal. Propst and Chartwell are co-developing a nearly 250-room hotel as just one piece of a project set to rise from the 71-foot-deep excavated city block at 1600 West End Ave., the Midtown split of Broadway and West End.
